As you can see by the images below I have been using some of my own mixes and they are a 70/30 PG/VG. The one I was sent seems to seeps liquid from where the bottom meets the cylindar on the bottom and the follower does not seem to move. While it seems to work ok the leaking is driving me nuts. I am still using it at this time and maybe in search of a nicer setup if anyone is using anything like this.
This is one of the best cheesecake vapes I have had to date. The cereal is really good and the strawberry is very light. Overall this is a good vape but I probably wouldn’t run out to buy another bottle.
August’s VapeTin has arrived and I decided to share its contents with anyone who may be interested on the interwebs. I must say that I am very impressed and would highly recommend VapeTins if you are looking into a monthly or just a onetime assortment of E-liquids and/or hardware. August was the first month I have received an RTA since changing my hardware preference. If you are interested please follow this link. My subscription is setup up just like this (VapeTins Signature Tin – 3MG Flavor Preference: Fruits, Desserts, Candy, Beverages, Staff Pick Hardware Preference: RTA Accessories: Cotton, Staff Pick Recurring Order: Every 1 Month(s)and for the month of August, I received the following items.
August’s Contents were as follows. I linked some of the items just to get a rough value of the tin.
1 tank band $1.00 (or free with most purchases depending on the shop)
The total cost of the VapeTin was $81.98 delivered to my door. While the retail value from the links (where applicable) added up to $91.92 which does not include a few of the items (see pics below), tax, or shipping costs. Not to mention I can always find a use for a decent tin and I really like getting the new flavors to try out. Overall I am impressed with August’s tin and will be reviewing the E-liquids very soon. I do wish there was a way to prefer finishes on the hardware or mods, I understand that they could not allow you to only pick one finish, but I honestly don’t see my self ever wanting a seven-color anything.
Great flavor from this RTA. I am going to have to put it up there with the Kylin as far as flavor and denseness of the vapor. It has a somewhat restricted air flow which I really like. I emailed Hellvape 7.7.2019 over a top cap and an airflow issues I was having. 7/8/2019 they replied back and pretty much asked if I had put it together properly. The issue is the top cap is just way to loose and the air flow control ring will move down to the base. I have replicated this on multiple mods. I have shelved this RTA because in its current state it is not carryable. If you are looking at this tank I would recommend going to a brick and mortar and checking the tolerances before picking one up.
1/2 turn to fill top cap
810 drip tip with a 510 adapter
Coil Cutting tool
Airflow is loose I had to replace the o-ring on mine and it still falls down on my mod.
The top cap o-ring had to be replaced before it was somewhat usable.
No prebuilt coils
Shared lead space. Although I knew this RTA was set up like this I still do not like it when trying to use SS builds.
After watching countless videos on Youtube and reading massive amounts of information on the internet I have decided to make my own e-liquid. In Ohio, they are instituting a .10 per ML tax and I usually buy all my juices in 100-120ML bottles so this should pay off pretty quickly. I was a little overwhelmed when watching everyone and the initial investment that this was going to cost. What if I ordered all of these different flavorings and it tasted like dirt?
Getting started with my amazon shopping list as follows. I decided to use 30ML bottles at first just to get a feel of what I am doing. I would hate to trash a bunch of ingredients while just getting my feet wet.
Flavor Shots are the easiest way for me to get started. Just add your nicotine, VG, and PG to your flavor shot and with a little steeping time you will be good to go.
Find a good online mixing calculator, I use mixejuice.com and follow the recipe. I’ve got my recipe and all of my materials here so, it is now time to mix. Please use caution while handling nicotine it can absorb through your skin. I only use gloves when adding nicotine.
The syringes make it much easier to ensure amounts are more precise when measuring. I also cleaned up the digital scale that I used to use for reloading and it is my preferred way to mix.
Now it is time to wait for my Quik, Ripe Strawberry, Fried Ice Cream and Moon Sugar to steep a few days and see what we ended up with. I went ahead and cleaned out space in the top of the closet to store all my ingredients and nicotine. Not that we have any little ones running around but you can never be too safe. As you can see from the image below I have found a use for those vapetins.
